Bainbridge High School celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with a full schedule of treats and surprises to honor the incredible educators and staff who serve our students every day. It was a week filled with gratitude, generosity, and community support — all aimed at recognizing the tireless efforts of the faculty and staff who make BHS such a special place.
Throughout the week, administrators, local organizations, and community partners came together to provide meals, snacks, and heartfelt thanks.
Day 1 began with a warm welcome as staff were treated to a coffee, juice, and pastry bar to start their morning. Lunch was graciously provided by Southwest Baptist Church, kicking off the week on a high note.
Day 2 was all about refreshing energy, with Smoothie Day bringing smiles all around. Principal Bryant partnered with Health Products and Yogurt Too to provide cool and tasty treats to faculty and staff.
Day 3 featured a variety of sweet surprises. Dr. Pugh shared his homemade sweet potato pies with every member of the staff, popcorn was available for a fun midday snack, and both First Port City Bank and First National Bank contributed baked goods — donuts and cookies — to keep spirits high.
Day 4 continued the celebration with a savory lunch of BBQ provided by Boyd’s BBQ, while Five Star Credit Union sweetened the day with fresh cookies for all.
Day 5 wrapped up the week on a thoughtful note, as administrators personally delivered sweet treats to staff, adding a final touch of appreciation to an already memorable week.
At Bainbridge High School, we know that our teachers and staff are the heart of our school. Their commitment, care, and hard work do not go unnoticed, and this week was a small way to say a big "thank you."
To our BHS educators and team members — we are grateful for you every day!

Ms. Siebels’ Seniors earned their letterman jackets today. Congratulations!

Bainbridge High School 2025 Teacher of the Year is Ms. Mel Siebels. Thank you for all you do for kids on a daily basis.

You're the heart of our health and the calm in our chaos. Thank you for every Band-Aid, kind word, and moment of care. We appreciate you more than words (or lollipops) can say. Happy Nurse Appreciation Week! Thank you, Ms. Henderson, for all that you do for BHS.
